The photo was taken my husband, who felt strongly that I should blog about this. Usually he is content to delegate, but I threw down the gauntlet and asked him to get a good image. He obliged, and thumbed through the video until he got to the perfect frame.

Dorothy, oh thanks for the reminder! It was PeachPit's friend's grandmother who showed it to me. One more reason I should revise the categories.

That's pretty good. He looks like quite a catch.

The stitch pattern I'm referring to in today's post is the one your GrandMIL told you about.

R1: Kx, *P2, Kx*
R2: Px, *YO, K2tog, Px*
R3: Kx, *P2, Kx*
R4: Px, *K2tog, YO, Px*

I knit it using the Eastern Uncrossed style but I wrapped my YO's over the needle toward me instead of under and away.
