two meters, please

When this thing gets whacked up for fundraising purposes, I'd like a wearable piece with at least one of the West African countries represented.  I just love the fusion of these two passions:  knitting and soccer (football to most of the rest of the world).  I knew a woman who knew a woman who had various moments of spectacular games inadvertently recorded in her knitting by unintentional departures from the pattern.
